A set of ten totally handmade 32mm buttons, about social dancing. The designs are inspired by my own experiences in the folk world and stories from dance scenes like tango, blues, contra, you name it; a lot of it is amazing, and some things could be better. Let's celebrate diversity and inclusion in dance (as well as life)!

ABOUT

I am Maartje (1992), a designer that still believes art can change the world. I work at De Havenloods in a beautiful, sustainable shared studio that makes me happy to cycle to work every day.

I'm a Graphic Design Bachelor (ArtEZ Arnhem, 2014) and specialised in Social Design (No Academy, 2016).

My ideals are at the heart of what I do: I am always approaching my freelance and self-initiated projects from a social, queer, feminist and sustainable viewpoint. I love to conspire with my clients about creative ways in which the project can help improve the world and be truly inclusive.
